very interesting approach to panelling, border lines act more as a suggestion rather than all containing separate pieces of artwork, subject matter merging panels together. Text framed in the same visual method as image, no word balloons.

prolific comic artist and writer, passionate about combing gritty abstract textures and ways of working into traditional comics. the natural detail as a result of his use of mixed media is one of my favourite aspects of his work.

at first glance there isn’t a clear discernible subject, just an interesting use of texture, colour and composition, but as you start to perceive the detail the atmosphere of the image is clarified and you can make out a scene.
